Judith M. Ehlert

Judith M. Ehlert, R.N. was born March 21, 1937 in Sheboygan, WI to Millard and Gertrude (nee Heidorn) Elwess. She passed away on February 8, 2024 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Judith was a faithful and active parishioner at Faith Lutheran Church for over 75 years. She graduated from Lutheran General Hospital School of Nursing in 1962. She practiced nursing for 40 years. Specializing in psychiatric and pediatric nursing. She developed a program called Repatternization for motor nerve development for special needs individuals. Her hobbies and interests include horseback riding, boating, ice skating and sewing. She loved nature.

Judith is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Ehlert; her children David and Ellen Ehlert and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings David Elwess and Linda (late Robert) Conover and by her parents.

Memorial visitation, Saturday February 17, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 10:00 am until the time of memorial service at 11:00 am. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
