Jurgen Albrecht Reiprich

Jurgen Albrecht Reiprich, 74, was born on March 10, 1950, in Schweinfurt, Germany to Hermann and Elisabetha (nee Heim) Reiprich. He passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024. A beloved father and grandfather, he had endless love for his family, friends, and animals (especially his cats).

He immigrated to Chicago at the age of 19 and met his darling wife Kathy through a co-worker, Albert Klein (who later became his father-in-law). He worked hard for his family as a tool and die machinist and was a talented craftsman. He loved music, nature, enjoyed fishing and camping in northern Wisconsin, and vacationing with his family every summer all across the United States.

Jurgen is survived by his daughter, Kristie (Chris) Hein; and his beautiful granddaughters Kathwren (Wren) Reiprich and Sophie Hein. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; his daughter, Jennifer; and his parents Hermann and Elisabetha (Heim).

We will miss him greatly but will always be surrounded by the love and laughter we shared.

A memorial service will be held on August 4th from 1:30-4:30, service at 3 p.m, at Plum Grove Park Banquet Hall, 4001 Park Dr. Palatine, IL 60067
