Karen A. Jenni

Karen grew up in the Sauganash neighborhood of Chicago and was an alum of Queen of All Saints and Regina Dominican High School, where she made life long friends. In her early 20s she met her husband Jay Jenni, and they were married June 14, 1969. Together they settled in Arlington Heights where they raised their two beloved daughters. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, she spent the majority of her career with United Airlines, where she enjoyed her colleagues and the flight attendant crews that she supported everyday.

She always looked forward to sharing meaningful time with those she loved most, including traveling with her family and friends to some of her favorite destinations, like Hawaii, Ireland, Paris, London, and long walks through her treelined Scarsdale neighborhood.

Karen is survived by her children, Erica (Eric) Goodwin of Chicago and Erin (Brian) Ellen of Mount Prospect; grandchildren, Jenna, Sam, Delaney, Abby and Arthur; and brother, Michael Kaiser.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Jenni.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, 831 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment to immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
