He died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.Karl was an electrical inspector for Village of Wauconda. He retired after 22 years from American Airlines. Karl was the owner of Pulse Electric, a former community service officer in Wauconda, and other law enforcement agencies.Karl is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Deborah L. Gompertz nee Hauser; his children Michael E. (Jeana), Karla M. and Karl R.; his step-children, Tracy, Tina, and Anthony E. (Katie) Forgette, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ariana M. King and Drake A. Friday; step-grandchildren Keegan (Lorena) Black, Raven S. Friday; his great Grandson, Jet Black; his sisters, Ann C. Parrish of Beach Park and Cynthia J. (Roger) Schuler of Schaumburg; his cousin, two nieces and two nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, September 4, 2015, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
