Kathleen Theresa Laban was born December 28, 1934 in Chicago to Thomas and Katherine (nee O’Keefe) Barry. She died May 12, 2021 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village.
Kathleen is survived by her children Thomas (Melonie) Laban and Coleen (John) Forsythe; her grand children Stephanie Heller, Caitlyn, Ryan, Alyssa, Michael (Beth), Greg (Martha) and Cindy; by her eleven great grandchildren and by her sister Diane (Dan) Tester.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Laban; her son Michael Laban and by her parents.
Visitation Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 from 9:00 AM until the time of prayers at 11:15 AM, to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL for Mass at 12:00 PM. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery.
