Kenneth William GneuhsOf Lake ZurichKenneth William Gneuhs was born September 9, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Marie (nee Lestock) Gneuhs. He died Friday, October 23, 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.Mr. Gneuhs was a self-employed financial planner. He was an active member, former board member and board president at St. Peter Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Kildeer-Long Grove Rotary Club. Kenneth served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband and father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.He is survived by his spouse of almost 25 years, Kathleen K. nee Kovacs; his daughter, Kirsten (Simon) Ball, his son, Kirk Wade Gneuhs; his grandchildren Charlie, Edward, and Alyce Ball, Zoe and Tessa McAfee, Harrison, Devon and Claire Proud Jackson, Emma, Wynn and Grace Hawley; his step-daughters, Amy Thackery, Jill (Matt) Thackery-Proud, and Meghan (Darren) Hawley; and his brother, Robert Allen (Brenda) Gneuhs.He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Alyce nee Schrock, and his parents.Memorial Service 10:00 am, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W.
