I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with my Uncle Ken when I was younger. So many of those memories were spent in the Wisconsin Dells at his A-frame.  I remember driving around in the back of his truck while he played Neil Diamond.  I remember the days he took us all out on his boat.  He would go really fast and I loved that!  I remember everyone sitting out on the back deck doing bon fires.  I also remember many great holidays spent at his house.  I loved spending time with Uncle Ken, Aunt Juanita, Mark and Kenny.  Those are special memories I will carry with me all my life.  My mom had a special bond with her brother.  She loved him so much! My dad was an all around good guy and a great dad.  I have A LOT of great memories of him and everyone in the family at so many great places, especially growing up...  Like, Camp Lake where he, grandpa Chuck, and Uncle Ken were cutting down trees (with Ken still up in one of them)...  Like, Ken & Sharon's for Christmas Eve, with all of the gag grab bag gifts...  Like, Port Vista out on the deck with Jerry, Joanne, Ken, Sharon, Joe, Val and countless pitchers of beer 🍻 ...  And one of my favorites was going canoeing & camping in the Ottawa/Sylvania forest up in th da U.P.  it took a while to con my mom into going to a place with no showers, real bathrooms, and sleeping on the ground... for a week.  Then the very first time we went on the dirst day my mom fell into the lake 😋  But we continued to go for decades.  When I graduated college my dad offered to take me anywhere I wanted for a trip (in the world)... I opted to go back to Sylvania with him which was the last vacation we took together and here are some pictures from the trip..  I will miss you dad.  Love , Kenny (aka Tugboat)

Words cannot even, Uncle Ken your up there with Your Mom and Dad, And my Mom, Your sister and YOUR TRUE LOVE AUNT JUANITA....The memories of growing up up in the Dell's, The rides in the suburban thru the woods, Jamming to the Jazz singer.  You always drove your sister crazy being so late on Christmas Eve, But always made it special, Your Secret Santa gigs were always such a blast and we all looked forward to it...  Not only now, But over the past years I have missed our daily calls, You were a true ear to bend, And always provided great advice.  You have got your wings, And you will be missed by many, Be sure when you get there to let them all know we miss them so much, But happy you are all together and safe now.. Rest In Pease, Smile lots, your in peace now...Rest easy Uncle Kenny.

Ken was a great guy that formed his own opinions, did not judge, did not jump to conclusions, saw the good in others, and like the true scientist that he was, dealt only with facts. This is one of my favorite Ken stories in the form of a limerick:               There once was a scientist from Kent Who wanted to do an experiment He went out on a bog To fetch him a frog  Yada Yada Yada So he gets the frog home and puts it on the lab table. He gets behind the frog and yells, “Jump”. The frog Jumps The scientist jots down the data in his notebook The scientist cut off one of the frog’s hind legs. Once again, he gets behind the frog and yells, “Jump”. Once again, the frog jump The scientist writes down the new data and statistic The scientist cuts off the frog's second hind leg. He gets behind the frog again and yells, “Jump”. The frog jumps. The scientist scribbles down the data The scientist cuts off one of the frogs front legs He yells, “Jump” at the frog and the frog jumps The scientist writes his notes The scientist cuts off the frog’s last leg. The scientist again yell’s, “Jump” The frog does not move The scientist slams his fist onto the table and yells, “Jump” The frog does not move. The scientist instantly concludes that when a frog loses all of its legs, the frog will go deaf.          I think Ken liked telling this story because he was fact driven and he appreciated those like him that did not jump to conclusions. We will miss you.  Phil, Carol, Nathan, and Sydney Wydra

Ken, Your passing marks the end of the Richmond St. family for Jerry and me.  Here we shared so many memories I will never forget.  From snowball fights to spitting sour cherry seeds in the back yard, you were always apart of my life. Even though you were older you were always there to help me.  I remember how you helped me get a job where you worked and drove me back and forth.  I watched you and a colleague joke and laugh as you kicked dry ice through the hall.  Another memory of you and Nita trying to teach Sharon and me to water ski on Silver Lake.  Even though we never managed to water ski, you tried all day and never gave up.  I know your love of Scotch and cooking, a love you passed on to Kenny and your nephew David. When you and Linda moved to Florida, I was happy to once again enjoy your company and calm demeaner Thank you, Ken for the fond memories.  May God bless you, Valerie
