Kenneth Wayne Widing

Wayne Widing was born on January 23, 1965 in Waukegan, Illinois. He died Monday, December 23, 2019 at his home in Buffalo Grove, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Widing took pride in his work with First Student for over 12 years.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Lois S. Menis-Widing (nee Gonzales) he was a devoted father to, Christine Widing, Harrison (Cassie) Menis, Charles Menis, Allie Menis, and Tyllie Menis; he was a beloved Papa to Addison Menis, and “Waynie-Wayne” to Avalyn Noworyta; his siblings Pat, Katie, and David; his brother-In-law, Lou Gonzales, and his family, sister-in-law, Leslie (Sean) Jones; he was a cherished uncle to, Miranda Jones, Aric Jones, Tyler Jones, Nathan Jones (who is also his Godson), and Aaron (Carla) Martinez. Wayne was also survived by many dear friends who never left his side.

He was preceded in death by Mother, Iva Widing.

Visitation from 1:00 pm until time of his Memorial Service at 4:30 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
