Kris was our loving Godson and will always be remembered. His struggles in life drove him to search the Bible and pray for direction. His relationship with Christ developed over the years and he liked to share his life journey. He boldly expressed his love for his family and would have desired for them to ask Jesus for direction, comfort and peace at his parting!
A quote that always comforted me and does now with Kris’s loss is by Peter Marshal—“Those we love are with the Lord and the Lord has promised to be with us—if they are with Him and He is with us—Kris, your father, son, brother, grandfather, nephew and friend is not far away at all “. May you rest in the arms of Jesus Kris! We love you and look forward to the day of our reunion in heaven.
Kris would want you to know that to have a personal relationship with Christ that you need to acknowledge that He died for you, that you are saved by His grace alone and that you surrender yourself to Him! Kris did and that’s why He is anew with Christ Jesus!
