Laura Carlson

Laura Lee Carlson, age 60 years, of Arlington Heights, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning July 28, 2026, at a hospice facility embraced by the love of God and her family in the beautiful outdoors.

Loving wife of 15 years to Daniel Carlson and caring mother to Mikayla Carlson.

She was born in Blue Island, Illinois, to the late Fred and Barbara Langer.

Cherished sister to Fred (Cary) Langer, James Langer, the late Debbie (George) Liebert, Cindy (Mike) Bartkus, and John (Tricia) Langer. Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Loved by all she met. Faithful and loving servant of God.

Dedicated professor for many years. Devoted volunteer to the Spina Bifida Association, church and Mikayla’s school.

Her love, joy, compassion, empathy, generosity, selflessness, and humorous spirit will be missed by all.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2026, 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights - Youth Ministries.
