I had the privilege of working with Laura at Allstate. Admired her for her calm, collected manner in which she handled not only her work but also her battle with cancer. She fought a good fight and she is now in a glorious place, at peace. My heartfelt sympathies to her family and all her loved ones. May God grant them the strength to bear her loss.

Aunt Laura was an incredible woman, always ready with a smile when I saw her. She had a strength of character that I will always admire. I send my utmost love and condolences to the entire Jackson family and keep you in my prayers.

Any one who knew Laura was fortunate to have her in their life, including me for the short time I knew her. Laura was a truly giving soul. Rest easy now, Laura.

I admired Laura's strength.  She had the courage to stand for what she believed.  And she had the courage to face life's problems -- including her cancer -- head on and with dignity.  Calm and direct, Laura always knew what she had to do, and she did it.

May her strength always be with you.

I worked with Laura and always admired her.  We shared many laughs over the years.  She was a wonderful caring person who was respected by everyone.  She inspired everyone with her determination especially during her long illness.  I will miss her and know she is at peace and smiling at all of us from God's glory.

I was so sad to hear about Laura.  She was a wonderful person and I feel so fortunate to have known her and to have so many wonderful memories of her.  My prayers are with her family, whom she loved so much.

I met Laura in 2001 when I worked on a temporary assignment in Allstate's human resources department.  I was impressed by her ability to stay calm in any situation.  In corporate America things change rapidly and Allstate was no exception.  Laura always seemed to "go with the flow" and did it with a smile while everyone else was stressing out.  We worked together on and off for the next 10 years and she never changed.  She was always kind, willing to share her advice and knowledge, and had a great sense of humor when we needed it most.  She was so proud of her kids and often told stories and bragged about them.  I was honored to be her friend!

Laura fought her cancer harder than anyone I know.  She always amazed me how she could stay so strong emotionally and mentally after her body had been through so much.  I know she's in heaven . . . she's earned her place for sure!  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  Rest in peace my friend.
