Laura J. Siano

Laura J. Siano passed away on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023. She was born on August 31st, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois to William Shlifka and Patricia Moran.

She is survived by her son Joseph Dostal, her mother Patricia Marshall, her grandson Lief Siano, her siblings Dianna Shlifka, Mark (Bonnie) Shlifka, and Mary (Dave) Reed, many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father and her husband of 25 years, Joseph T. Siano and her son Peter Dostal.

Laura worked for Illinois Department of Transportation for over 30 years with her husband Joseph.

Laura was a selfless, caring, and amazing individual who raised Joseph’s grandson Lief as her own and was an extremely important individual in his life. She will be truly missed by him and everyone who knew her.

A visitation will take place from 3:00 PM til 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 27th, 2023 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 North Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
