Lawrence J. Long, 91 of Palatine, formerly of Rolling Meadows was born January 15, 1926 in Chicago to Lawrence H. and Marie (nee Kennealy) Long and passed away May 27, 2017. Larry was the loving father of Michael (Marilyn) Long and Deborah A. (Rick) O’Donnell; loving companion of Betty Hughes; cherished grandfather of Ray (Lisa) Long, Joe Long, Chris (Renee) Long, Amanda (Adrian) Martinez, Matthew (Tara) O’Donnell, Nicholas (Regina) O’Donnell, Jamie (Lauren) O’Donnell, Joey (Megan) O’Donnell and Christie (Justin Seefeldt) O’Donnell; great-grandfather of 12 and dear brother of Tom Long and the late Mame Meyers and Jim Long. Visitation will be Friday, June 2, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral mass 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness. Interment will be private.
