Lorraine C. Gundlach, 100, formerly of Arlington Heights was born February 11, 1921 in Chicago to Paul and Florence (Roebe) Zinter and passed away March 20, 2021. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Herbert; loving mother of Suzanne (late Judge Charles) Travis and the late Darryl Gundlach; fond mother-in-law of Mary Anne (Elmer) Rossini; cherished grandmother of Frederic Hammer, Douglas (Marsha) Hammer, Craig (Adrianne) Hammer, Herbert “Butch” Hammer, DJ (Marybeth) Rossini, Erin (Craig) Yarwood and Mike (Heather) Rossini; great-grandmother of Shawn, Alyssa, Ethan, Benjamin, Jacob, Abbey, Cooper, Ellie, Henry, Nick, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Brandan, Riley and Dalaney; dear sister of Germaine (Earl) Hagler and the late Paul (late Lois) Zinter, late Myrtle (late Robert) Apitz and late Justine (late Lee) Fiori and adored aunt of Bing (Nikki) Apitz, Paul (Robin) Zinter, April (Charlie) Byrd, Loren (Cindy) Groves and the late Margo (late Butch) Whited. Visitation will be Friday, March 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery.
