Louis Majewski of Arlington Heights, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at his home at the age of 85. Louis was born on September 10, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Steve and Anna (Dziadus) Majewski.
After graduating from Lane Tech High School in Chicago in 1957, Louis went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in 1962 from Wilbur Wright College in Chicago. Louis also served his country with distinction in the United States Army National Guard until his honorable discharge in 1968.
Louis married Mary Kay Blake on June 3, 1972 at Saint Juliana Catholic Church in Chicago.
While Louis began his sales career with Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago, his real passion emerged in medical sales. He worked at Johnson & Johnson for 33 years until his retirement in 1998.
Along with his wife Mary Kay, Louis was a longtime parishioner at Saint Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Among Louis’ pleasures in life were asking “what if” questions of friends and family and cruising in the Caribbean with Mary Kay. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Louis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Kay; two children, David (Colleen) Majewski and Christine (Thomas) Quinn; five grandchildren, Margaret, Abigail and William Majewski and Ethan and Eliana Quinn; as well as other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Alex and Jim.
A visitation for Louis will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Saint Edna Catholic Church (2525 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois). A Mass of Resurrection will be held at the church at 10:00 am with interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital are greatly appreciated.
