Lydia A. Mayer, 62 of Glen Ellyn was born on July 3, 1962 to the late Charles and Evelyn (nee Klatter) Mayer in Chicago and passed away on February 22, 2025. Lydia was the beloved wife to Jon Gantt; loving sister to Darlene (late Robert) Irelan, Late Gail Rinaldi, DeBorah (John Cullen) Sirilla, Glen (Tammy) Mayer, David (Ruby) Mayer, and the late Scott Mayer; and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to PAWS Chicago or any other No Kill Animal Shelter.
