

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary Foreman (nee Bonk), who left this world peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the age of 97 years young.
Margaret was born in Chicago on May 25, 1928, to Edwin and Mary Bonk (nee Holloway). Marge is adored by her 9 children Dennis, Sheila (Ian) Gladding, the late Edward, William (Beth), Susan, Elizabeth (Lester) Aron, Julie (Bill) Cleary, Nora Errico and John (Michelle) Foreman; cherished grandmother of 18; Molly (Kyle), Hillary (John), Emmett, Peter, Mary, Tom, Joe, David (Laury), Rachel, Emily (Daniel), Grace, Clare, Eleanor, Quinn, Charlotte, Ramona, Miles, and Celia; darling great-grandmother to Michael and Mabel; dear sister to James (late Catherine) Bonk, dear sister-in-law to MaryAnn (Richard) Johnston, the late William (Nancy) Foreman, the late Jack (Vivian) Foreman, and fond aunt of 9 nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by Joseph, her husband of 67 years, and her son Edward.
Marge was known for her kindness, strength, humility, sense of humor and for always extending a warm smile of friendship to everyone she met. She touched the lives of many through her volunteer work at Our Lady of the Wayside church and school, PHD-Preservation of Human Dignity organization, hospice care, and her work for the U.S. Census. Her dedication to her children, family, church and community is immeasurable.
Services will be on Saturday, July 19, with visitation at 10am and a funeral mass at 11am at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 434 W Park Street, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Margaret’s memory.
She will be missed dearly and remembered always.
