Marge married the love of her life, Robert, and they raised four children together and enriched their lives with good memories, wonderful adventures, and the importance of family. Together they welcomed our spouses and Marge later welcomed in the grandchildren’s spouses with open arms. In her younger years, Marge loved to bowl, play golf, and relax by the water. She enjoyed traveling. Some of her favorite destinations include Africa, Alaska, England, France, Germany, Italy, Hawaii, Singapore, as well as many places in the United States.
In her later years, she moved to Chestnut Square in Glenview, IL where she enjoyed meeting new friends and playing games such as bingo, canasta, pinnacle, poker, jeopardy, and scrabble just to name a few.
Marge had a great sense of humor and was loving and kind to all that knew her. Perhaps her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She could spend endless hours with them talking, laughing, and introducing them to new phrases, like "Who is this SHE you're talking about?!"
Marge is survived by her children, Robert (Margo) Walter, Richard Walter, Pam (Phil) Schurr, and Randall Walter; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tanner) Morris, Nicole (Jason) Woods, Spring Walter, Hollie (Bob) Pavic, Steven Walter, Bobby Schurr, Tess Walter, Carrie (Mike) Sargent, Greg Walter; great-grandchildren, Nolan Woods, Izabella Beban, Charli Beban, Connor Woods, Ryland Beban, Levi Sargent, Lena Sargent, Maddie Pavic.
