Margo GrulkeOf Arlington HeightsMargo Grulke was born November 29, 1928 in Waterloo Township, WI to Edward and Louise (nee Gerstner) Schultz. She died March 11, 2015 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.Margo enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking for family and friends. As a kind, gracious and generous woman, she was always available to help those in need. Margo was an active dedicated member and past employee of Christ Lutheran Church, and retired from Pactiv in Northbrook.Margo is survived by her long-time companion Howard Anderson of Palatine; her sons Lee (Jean) of Verona, WI and James (Sarah) of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren Brad (Hilary), Lindsey and Samantha and her great grandchildren Will and Hannah, and by her niece Sandy (Walter "bud") Crossman.Margo is preceded in death by her husband George M. Grulke, whom she married August 27, 1949; her sister Ruth (late George) Cross and by her parents.Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Rd., Palatine, from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Christ Lutheran Church.
