Maria del Refugio Jimenez, 87, of Rolling Meadows, IL, was born on November 22, 1938, to the late Juna Esparza Ruiz and the late Maria del Refugio Anguiano and passed away on June 29, 2026. She will be missed dearly.
Maria was the beloved wife to Alberto Jimenez; loving mother to Martha (Jorge Eduardo) Griselda Rodriguez Esparza, Gerardo (Maria) Rodriguez, Gabriela (James D.) Bock, and Eric (Fabiola) Jimenez; dear grandmother to Jessica (Jose Alberto), Adriana (Elliot), Katy (Brandon), Eduardo (Cecilia), Amanda, and Jocelyn; fond great grandmother to Selena, Emilio, Luna, and Sofia; and loving sister to her 12 siblings.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 12:00 – 5:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Deacon Adolfo Ramirez will do a short prayer service at 1:00 PM on Sunday, visitation will continue after prayers. On Monday, July 6, 2026, we will be meeting at San Juan Diego Parish, 2323 N. Wilke Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004, for the funeral mass that will start at 10:00 AM.
