O'Donoghue, formerly of Prospect Heights, Glenview and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, was born on February 28, 1927 in Chicago to William and Sydell (nee Thorpe) Kroger. She died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home in Arlington Heights.Mrs. O'Donoghue was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and golfing at Evanston Country Club. She proudly achieved a hole-in-one at the Bay Colony Golf Course in Naples, Florida.She is survived by her children Tom (June), Bill (Stephanie), Mark (Cheryl), Jean (Gregory) Dexter, James (Trish) Tim (Chris), and Maureen (Scott) Kelly; her 16 grandchildren, Patrick (Libby), Matthew O"Donoghue, Catherine (Robert) Dicke, Shannon, Zachary, Brenna O"Donoghue, Jennifer (Brad) Kurkiewicz, Ryan (Sarah) Dexter, Michael, Connor, Dillon, Emily, Meghan, Caitlin O"Donoghue, Kayley and Kerry Kelly; and her siblings, Joseph (Mary Kay) Kroger, Jeanne Ryan, and John Kroger.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. O'Donoghue; her sister, Celeste Bonin, her brother William Kroger; and her parents.Visitation from 9:00 am until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
