Marie was born in Chicago, IL to Salvatore and Maria Pellicore. She is preceded in death by her dear sisters, Josephine Stellato and Concetta Veach, whose memories she carried close to her heart.
A loving aunt to Linda (Daniel) Martin, David (Lynn) Stellato, Stephen (Ann) Veach; Peggy (Art) Brendel, Robert (Judy) Veach, and Rosemarie (Doug) Scholefield. A beloved great-aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews, and most recently she embraced becoming a great grandaunt. She delighted in every milestone and memory they shared.
A proud graduate of Loyola University Chicago, she was a woman of curiosity, creativity, and unwavering enthusiasm. She found joy in the magic of Broadway musicals, the adventure of Star Wars, and the wonder of countless trips to Disney World—each visit a celebration of imagination, family, and fun. She also cherished the Christmas season—her favorite time of year—making her surroundings full of festive decorations, light, and warmth that brought joy to all who visited.
Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for the love she gave freely, the joy she found in life’s simple and grand moments alike, and the lasting impact she made on the family she treasured. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
