My fondest memory of your dear Mama was her voice; "my dear heart!"
Since my mother and Marilyn, Florence, and Eileen were girls and desr friends in school at North Park Academy, your mother has been part of our family. The passing of my mother Gladys Schumacher on August 15th, and the passing of your mom so close to hers ..has only shown that not only were they best friends in life, but also in their passing to our dear lords arms, for an eternity of love and friendship. May our sweet lord grant you peace and everlasting joy in her life and memories. ❤

So many of my childhood memories are full of Marilyn, with her warm smile and incredible laughter! Our family always enjoyed visiting with her and I have so many memories of shared meals and celebrations, taking walks around the pond in her neighborhood, and trips to Galena. I know she was an incredibly special person to my Mom, Chris Weichert, and will forever hold a corner of my heart as well. Blessings to this very special family, and wish we could give you a big hug. Annie Oroho (Weichert) and family.

Marilyn and Paul were neighbors and devoted, loving friends of my family. I am grateful and privileged to have had them in my life. This relationship continued to the present at Covenant Living of Northbrook. My mother Marie remained close friends and "neighbors" with Marilyn, and my wife Kim enjoyed Marilyn's kindness and caring on the campus.

Our sweet and dear friend for many years. My mother and Marilyn had been friends since high school at North Park Academy in Chicago. We had many luncheons and dinner parties with the Swanson‘s through the years. So many happy memories with my mom, Gladys Schumacher – Van Every and Marilyn. She will be deeply missed by all. Our mothers have been reunited in heaven and will continue their eternal friendship. Love to the family,

Our dear “Aunt Marilyn Monroe” will certainly be missed. She has been a constant in my life - all 58 years of my life. So many wonderful memories from childhood through current days. She traveled to our wedding at the United States Naval Academy and to our various homes throughout the United States. My husband Michael and I always looked forward to visits with Aunt MM, to hear her detailed stories and her precious laugh. Sending hugs to heaven and our favorite Aunt!
