Martha was a beloved, cherished, faithful, and kind-hearted woman whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those who knew her.
Martha was the beloved wife of Leo Jasniowski; mother of Ron and Edward Jasniowski; beloved daughter of Gustav and Friederike Mueller; and beloved sister of Elisabeth Ziemba and Friederike Mueller, and brothers, Gerhard and Sigismund Mueller. She was a dear aunt of Hans and Peter Ziemba and Reinhard Meuller.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Jasniowski; her son, Ronald Jasniowski; her parents, Gustav and Friederike Mueller; her sisters, Elisabeth Ziemba and Friederike Mueller; and her brothers, Gerhard and Sigismund Mueller. She is survived by her son, Edward Jasniowski, and her nephews, Hans and Peter Ziemba and Reinhard Mueller.
Martha, as she was always known, loved gardening and all types of flowers and plants. She could often be found enjoying time in the garden whenever the weather permitted, taking special joy in the beauty she helped grow.
She also loved spending time with friends and family and always made that a priority—an enduring reflection of the care and devotion she showed throughout her life.
Visitation will be held at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, on April 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016, on April 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to charities that are near and dear to Martha's heart, such as CARE which helped Martha greatly when she arrived in the United States, Grace Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect or Alzheimer's Disease Research or Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
