Martin P. Golden, Sr.

Martin Golden was born on March 17, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Martin and Mary (nee Loftus) Golden. He died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Clare Oaks in Bartlett, Illinois.

Mr. Golden served in the Army during WW II.

Martin is survived by his children Maryann Golden, Peggy McLaughlin, Trish Golden, Susan Mullin, and Martin P. Golden, Jr.; his grandchildren Joey Slawinski, Conor McLaughlin, Michelle Slawinski, Evan McLaughlin, and Tom Mullin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne M. Golden; his parents his sister, Louise Kurylak, and his brothers, John J. Golden, M.D., and Peter "Bud" Golden.

Visitation from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 8:45 am, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 South Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 9:30 am. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Misericordia Heart of Mercy 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL, 60660.
