Mary Beth Wilkin

Mary Beth attended St. Raymond and Sacred Heart schools before graduating from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She was an avid swimmer, sailor, and boater—she simply loved being on the water. Mary Beth cherished spending time with her family in Northern Wisconsin, found joy in gardening, and enjoyed walking her dog with friends. Her warmth and humor could always bring a smile to those around her.

She is survived by her children: Michael Garde, Cletus Garde, Peter Garde, and Aileen Garde; and by her brother, Michael (Sue) Wilkin Sr. Mary Beth will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends—from Gills Rock, Wisconsin, to St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her sister Kathy, her mother Agnes, her father Randall, and her brother Randall (Hilary) Wilkin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, from 4-8pm. A second visitation will take place on Friday, May 23, at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, 301 S. I-Oka Avenue, Mount Prospect, beginning at 10am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am.
