Mary S. Gaa was born June 9, 1940 in Manila to Francisco and Oliva (nee Serrano) Sison. She died September 29, 2020 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Mary is survived by her children Maria (Michael) Fedash, Michael (Janine) Gaa, Michelle (David) Ortega, Manuel Jr., (Sandra) Gaa; her grandchildren Anthony, Vincent, Daniel, Alyssa, Nicole, Deanna, James, Victoria, Matthew, Ethan, Marcos, Jocellyn, Eva; her great grandchildren Sofi and Tegan; her sister Virginia Sison and by her nephews Sherman, Sherwin and Sheridan.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Manuel R. Gaa, Sr.; her sister Milagros (late Herman) Simon; and by her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Capacity limits, PPE requirement, and social distancing in effect. Prayers 9:45 AM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, for Mass at 10:30 AM. Enter from covered doors from south parking area. Seating capacity limited to 160 guests, face masks and social distancing required. Those wishing to attend Mary’s funeral remotely may do so by watching the live video stream on her Tribute Wall at www.GlueckertFuneralHome.com, where you can also leave a memory or message of condolence. Interment will be at Maryhill Cemetery.
