She died Friday, September 12, 2014 in Hoffman Estates.Mary Ann worked for Lincoln National Bank and Corus Bank in Chicago and later worked as a Senior Vice-President of Operations for Wintrust/Lake Forest Bank in Lake Forest until her retirement. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights and also the Bible Club at Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago. She was an avid reader, and loved going to the movies and spending time with her family and friends.Mary Ann is survived by her children, John (Christine) Gannon, Nancy Gannon, William (Alexis) Gannon, Julie (Hyung) Kim, Susan (Scott) Myers and Gregory (Meggan) Gannon; grandchildren, John (Karen) Gannon, Marie Gannon, Andrea Ganshirt, Monica Ganshirt, Allison Ganshirt, Thomas Gannon, Kimberly Gannon, Michael Gannon, Emily Kim, Timothy Myers, Katherine Kim, Emma Gannon, Grace Gannon, Finn Gannon, and Sarah Myers; brother, Emil (Germaine) Eder; many nieces and nephews and her best friend Millie.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, whom she married July 31, 1971 in Chicago; her parents and special friends Leo and Rosie.Visitation Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 am, Monday, September 15, 2014 at the funeral home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
