Mary Ellis Petermann

Mary Ellis Petermann, 69, was born on September 10, 1954 in Oak Park, Illinois, to James and Barbara (nee Sullivan) Finn. She died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her home with her family at her side.

Mary had a wide ranging career background which included Hotel Uniform Sales, owning her own menu design company, becoming a Fashion Sales Rep for Cabi Design, and ultimately a restaurant president and owner.

Mary is survived by her husband, James; her children, Julie Johnson, David Collins, and Brendon (Sarah) Meltz; her grandchildren, Ayana Collins, Kyle Johnson, and Shaelyn Dieter; and her siblings, James (Sue) Finn Jr., Joanne Carroll, John, Maureen, Mike, Robert (Kathy) Finn, and Maryann (Steve) Radowski. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd, Inverness, Illinois.
