She died February 5, 2016 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.Mary Lou is survived by her daughters Sharon (David) Moore and Peg (Jim) Horst; her grandchildren Michael and Lindsay Olson and Andrew (AJ) and Taylor Bischoff and by her siblings Jim (Dolly) Lavan, Sharlene (Paul) Napholz and Pat (Fred) Bureau.Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband Michael John Tansey and by her parents.Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. In state from 9 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S. Meier Rd., Mt. Prospect for Mass at 10 AM.
