Matthew Alan Stegman

Matthew Alan Stegman passed away the morning of September 27, 2022 at age 55 from complications after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving mother and father, Julie and Bruce, and by his loving siblings, Amy (Andrew) Trimble, Andrew (Katie) Stegman and Jill (Jason) Sphar and by his five nephews and nieces, Andrew, Ryan, Lindsay, Nora and Helena.

Matthew had a generosity of spirit and was always there for anyone who said they needed help. He was mechanically inclined and adept at finding creative solutions. Matthew was giving, caring and kind. A genuine friend and a companion at the golf course or a football game or just sitting together analyzing the state of the world. He left us far too early and will be sorely missed forever.

Visitation will be at Glueckert Funeral Home on Sun., Oct. 2nd from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at St. Edna Catholic Church (2525 North Arlington Heights Road) on Mon., Oct. 3rd from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment at Fairview Memorial Park at 900 N. Wolf Rd. in Northlake, IL
