Michael Hugh Gallagher

Michael was a 32-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department. He was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed fishing, visiting Arlington Park Race Track, reading non-fictional novels and never missed a day of Jeopardy.

Mike is survived by his wife Susan (nee Muratori), his daughters Shannon and Erin; his brother Patrick (Ellen); his sisters in law Laura Ramos (Eduardo), Shirley Pawlisz (Jerry), Paula Muratori; his brother-in-law Lee Muratori (Patricia). Mike was a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and his brothers John and James (Sharon) and sister Mary-Kate.

A Celebration of Life service will be private.
