Michael Martin O'Donohue

Michael Martin O’Donohue, age 79. Beloved husband of Mary Lynn O’Donohue, nee Gusdane. He was born September 12, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Jeffrey and Sarah (nee Burke) O’Donohue. Michael graduated from Saint Ignatius High School, John Carroll University and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University. He married Mary Lynn on July 18, 1970 in Mayfield Village, Ohio. They left to pursue their life together in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Michael held various internal auditing and security management positions. He was a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He retired as Director, Controls Evaluation and Audit from Wickes Companies, Inc. Michael loved to play tennis, racquetball, golf, the stock market and horses. He passed away after being ill for a long period of time.

Visitation 10:00 am Monday, January 27, 2020 until the 11:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be held privately at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
