Michael R. Smith, 69 of Huntley, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born October 14, 1946 in Chicago to Fulton and Mary (nee Guzzetta) Smith and passed away February 19, 2016. Michael was the beloved husband of Diana L. (nee Ketchum); loving father of Laura M. (David) White, Sarah J. (Chris) Armsey, Jessica A. Smith and Mac Smith; cherished PopPop of Matthew, Danny, Jack, Peter, Kate and Madeline and dear brother of Michelle (late Michael) Erikson. Funeral service and interment will be private.
