Michaeleen "Mickie" Hendricks

She was born September 24, 1949 the daughter of Rita and Edward Hendricks.

Mickie’s love of family was the center of her life. She was a dedicated, fun-loving, and nurturing daughter, sister, aunt and sister-in-law. Her generosity and creativity was boundless. Always the “Life of the party”, she was the last to leave a dance floor. Her enjoyment of arts and crafts, cooking, baking, puzzles, bingo, shopping, and music kept her busy. A licensed cosmetologist (Mickie and Company), she also worked at Illinois Bell and W.W. Grainger. She brought a light so great to the world that even after leaving us, her light remains. Her song may have ended, but the melody will linger on.

Mickie is survived by her siblings, Debbie (Beverly Furtado) Hendricks, Ed (Cindy) Hendricks Jr., Mike (Joe Della Monica) Hendricks, Tom (Laura) Hendricks and Rita (Greg) Kokotis: Nieces and Nephews, Brian (Jackie) Hendricks, Caitlin (Matt Stuczynski) Hendricks, Kevin (Gabby) Hendricks, Tim (Hannah) Hendricks, Matthew (Fran) Hendricks, Danny Hendricks, Michael Hendricks, Jennifer Kokotis, Kimberly Kokotis and Ryan Kokotis: and great Nieces and Nephews, Reece, Brooks, Teagan, Hallie and Milo.

Family will be receiving guests on November 14, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral mass which will begin at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church 440 South Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1440 South Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162.
