Mildred E. Mueller

Mildred E. (Hovorka) Mueller, 96, of Lake in the Hills, formerly of Mt. Prospect, passed away August 25, 2016 in Barrington was born November 28, 1919 in Quincy Township, Wisc., the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Lev) Hovorka. Millie and her late husband Harold were longtime farmers in Elk Grove Township. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and will forever be remembered for her cookies and entertaining. She was a kindhearted woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Robert (Jenny) Mueller, son-in-law James (Ann) Stade, grandchildren Ken (Terri) Stade, Dave (Kris) Stade, Don (Liz) Stade, Gregg (Sandra) Stade, Cathy (Joe) Jender and R. Mike (Shelley) Mueller, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Emma (the late Frank) Kopas; brothers, Charlie (Carolyn) and Johnny (Lucy) Hovorka. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Stade, daughter-in-law Linn Mueller and 9 siblings. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug 28 at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights. She will be lying in state at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug 29 at St John Lutheran Church, 1100 Linneman Rd, Mt Prospect, until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.
