Nancy Alice Marzec

Nancy Alice Marzec was born on August 24, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Matthew and Alice (nee Schildgen) Marzec. She died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington following a hard-fought battle with colon cancer.

Nancy worked as a music teacher for Eisenhower Junior High in Hoffman Estates. She was a member of various musical organizations throughout the northwest suburbs.

Nancy is survived by her siblings, Richard M. (Tom Goodman) Marzec and Susan (Michael) Magee; nephew, Tim Marzec, niece, Erin (Brad) Seaman, nephew, Fr. Matthew Magee, and great niece, Eloise Seaman; also her best friend, Steve Deering.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Marzec and her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, and Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of service 10:00 am at Christus Victor Church 1045 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village. Interment private.
