Nancy K. Riley

Nancy was a longtime and active member of St. John United Church of Christ in Arlington Heights. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and being at her favorite getaway, the lake house. She was always ready to sit and chat over a cup of coffee. Nancy had many different roles including working at JC Penney, playground supervisor at school, church secretary, but her favorite role of all was being a Grandma. She would drop anything to babysit and spend time with her Grandkids and loved every single minute of it.

Nancy is the loving mother of Julie (Rob) Breeden, Cheryl Riley and Tom (Jen) Riley; cherished Grandma of Riley, Madelyn, Emma, Brayden, Mason (Brianna) and Hannah; great grandma to Henry; sister of Gail (Dan) Burgess and Bruce (Carol) Wilson and fond Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas R. Riley and by her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. John United Church of Christ. Interment St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to either St. John United Church of Christ or The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.PanCan.org.
