Nathaniel James Quinn

Nathaniel James Quinn was born on May 21, 1998, in Geneva, IL to Andrew Quinn and Geisela (Quinn) Oberheim. He died Saturday, October 9, 2021 in a tragic car accident.

Nathaniel (Nate) was a 2016 graduate of Lake Zurich High School. He worked as a Distribution Coordinator for Hankyu Hanshin Express Inc. in Addison, IL. Prior to Hankyu he worked at teh local Dunkin Donuts where he was known for greeting customers with a smile. He was an avid sports fan and grew up playing sports of all kinds. Nathaniel particularly loved baseball, playing with the LZBSA, Cougars and Kildeer travelling baseball teams. He excelled at track and cross country and earned state honors and numerous conference titles as a member of the LZHS Cross Country team. Nathaniel had an encyclopedic knowledge of sports, and could rattle off statistics for every player. He loved Chicago and all of its sports teams. Together with sports, Nathaniel also loved food in the company of family and friends. Whether it was a burger hot off the grill or mac and cheese, he ate it all – even though he was always one of the skinniest people in the room. His love of life was infectious and felt by everyone around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he was truly loved by all.

Nathaniel is survived by his parents Andrew Quinn and Geisela (Quinn) Oberheim; sisters, Jessica Quinn, Gretchen Quinn, and Hannah DeLisle; grandparents Robert and Arlene Quinn, Halina (Keith) Hibbing, and Mike Butler. Nathaniel leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as friends both near and far.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Oberheim Jr. and grandfather, Robert Oberheim Sr.

Visitation will start at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 23, 2021, until the 11:00 am Memorial Service at The Orchard Church, 1330 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Nathaniel will be laid to rest at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary IL.
