He died Monday, April 13, 2015 at home peacefully, surrounded by family.Nicholas, an Architect, was Vice-President for Hague Richards until becoming a partner in Techno Ltd. in Chicago. He was a member of AIA and NCAARB. He was an art lover and loved to travel the world. Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, and was loved by all.Nicholas is survived by his spouse Sharon (nee Cohen) of 51 years; children, Michael (Ruth) Patete, and Wendy Patete, granddaughters, Victoria and Andrea Patete; brother, Kenneth (Kathleen) Patete; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded into death by his parents.Visitation Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
