

Norma S. Damm, of Arlington Heights was born July 12, 1921 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Albert T. and Clara O. (nee Erickson) Sundell and passed away peacefully September 11, 2012 at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Norma was the beloved wife of the late Walter J. Damm Jr.; loving mother of Jeffrey A. (Pamela) Damm and Janet D. (Gary) Baker; cherished grandmother of Kirsten (Landon Gurley) Fazi, Lindsey (Erik) Norman and Kurt (fiancé Lori Weigel) Baker; great grandmother of Paris Gurley, Taylor Gurley, Tanner Norman and Brooklyn Norman; dear sister of the late Beverly Sundell and fond sister-in-law of Irene (late Robert) Damm. Norma retired from the Marketing Department at United Airlines after 20 years of service and was a member of the Retired United Airlines Employee Association (RUAEA). She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Rolling Meadows Golden Age Club. Norma also was a member of the Arlington Heights Zoning Board of Appeals for 31 years retiring in April 2000. Visitation will be Thursday September 13, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Hwy. Arlington Heights where funeral services will be held Friday September 14 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
