Pamela Anne Kann

Pamela Anne Kann, 79, was born September 26, 1942, in Chicago, IL to Sam and Marie (nee Ferrara) Iorio. She died Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Before retiring, Pam was an executive secretary for Arthur J. Gallagher in Itasca for over 20 years. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and sporting events. She loved to travel and get together with family and friends. She was ecstatic to become a great-grandmother. 2022 was a very difficult year for her as her health began to decline. She refused to give up the fight and remained strong until the very end.

Pamela is survived by her daughters Lisa (Gary) Byers and Patti (Robert) Hasemann; grandchildren Kevin (Brenda), Christopher, Kyle, and Brian Byers, Courtney, Rebecca, and Samantha Hasemann; and her great-grandson Jack Byers.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Kann; her parents; and her brother Maurice (Mary) Iorio.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, and from 9:00 am until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 30, 2022, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
