Patricia Eileen Von Ebers

Patricia Eileen Von Ebers, 97, a 57-year resident of Arlington Heights, was born February 4, 1927, in Delavan, IL to Burley and Lavegia (nee Sanders) Penninger. She died Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Northwest Community Hospital, in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Von Ebers was an executive assistant for Fireman's Fund Insurance for many years before retiring.

She cherished her time with her family and friends, enjoyed gardening, bike riding, home decorating, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She was an active member of St. Thomas of Villanova in Palatine for over 37 years, dedicating over 20 years to the church choir.

Patricia is survived by her children Jeffrey Farris, Joel (Julia) Farris, and Caroline (Kevin Goulet) Farris; her grandchildren, Bryan (Jenna) and Kevin (Aly) Farris, Michael J. and Jacob McConachie; her great grandchildren, Callum, Lydia, & Rhodes Farris; and her nieces Penny, Susan, Carol & Patty, and her nephews, Steve, David, Greg & Mike.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Von Ebers; her parents; and her siblings, Beverly Gerbracht, Burley, Bryan and Edwin Penninger.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Monday, March 18, 2024, at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 East Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60067. Interment following at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois.
