Patricia T. Farrell was born on November 24, 1938 in Chicago to Edward and Tillie (nee Drearczyk) Miller. She died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in Des Plaines.

Pat worked for the City of Chicago for 37 years and retired as the Director of Demolition. She loved to cook, garden and winter in Palm Harbor, Florida. Patricia often traveled, with her husband Scott, to the United Kingdom to see her son and his family.

Patricia is survived by her husband Scott of 31 years; son, Mark (Lorraine) Slankard; and grandson, Kirk Slankard; sister-in-law Linda (George) Bienke their children Eric and Michael; brother-in-law Robert (Maureen) Farrell and his children; her cousin Hillard Pulikowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorothy Miller; her uncle Stanley Drearczyk and his daughter Bernadette.

Visitation Monday, July 10, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:00 am, Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the funeral Home, proceeding to St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mount Prospect, IL 60056 for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
