Johanna Banich Jackson

I am Patsy’s first cousin. Her mother and my father were sister and brother. Her parents and my parents bought an apartment building in the late 1940’s and had a flooring business in that location. There were 4 apartments, all occupied by family so it was common to bump into family every day. Patsy was 11 years younger than me. She was a sweet little girl and that never changed. We kept contact through Facebook. 

Please know that I am so sorry for her family’s loss. She thought the world of her boys and grand children. My thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Pat’s family.  She was one of the kindest individuals on this earth.  She always opened her heart to everyone.  She loved our dog Stella so much and we trusted Pat 100% with her care.  We are grateful for the love she shared with our family.

Pat cared for and loved my dog, Rory.  There are not enough words to express her compassion for the pets that were in her care.  She took care of them as though they were her own.  I valued and trusted every interaction she and I had and considered her a true dog whisperer.

She also shared with me her love for her family.  I was fortunate enough to have taught two of her grandsons whom I know she was so proud of.    She often spoke with a big smile of all that her sons and grandsons had accomplished.

I hope this is a time of great memories of Pat.  She loved those who were close to her and I extend my deepest sympathy to her family.  I unfortunately cannot attend the service on Saturday but you will be with me in my thoughts and prayers.

Pat was so much more than a dear friend—she was family. You might say we grew up together. We double dated with the young men who would later become our husbands, and together we shared the joys of early marriage and motherhood. It is hard to imagine those years without her by my side.

Some of my happiest memories are of the simple moments we shared. We both loved to sew, and Pat was a true perfectionist. She lovingly made little trousers for her boys, and one of our favorite outings was spending an afternoon at the fabric store with all seven of our children. Those ordinary days became some of life’s most treasured memories.

Over the years, we visited museums, enjoyed Great America, went skiing, and spent wonderful summer days at the beach. Pat was always prepared, always organized, and always thinking of everyone else. She had a remarkable gift with children and an intuition that couldn’t be taught. Her patience, wisdom, and loving heart touched every child she met.

When I think of Pat, I think of kindness, grace, generosity, and unwavering love. Her friendship was one of life’s greatest blessings, and I will always be grateful for the laughter, adventures, and memories we shared.

Thank you, Pat, for a lifetime of beautiful memories and for being such an extraordinary friend. I will carry your friendship in my heart always. Until we meet again.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Pat. She was truly one of the kindest, warmest, and most loving people I have ever known.

I will always remember her gentle spirit and the way she made everyone around her feel welcome, cared for, and important. Growing up, I have such fond memories of being around Pat and your family. She always greeted me with a smile, genuine kindness, and a heart full of love. She was the kind of person who made the world feel a little softer and a little brighter just by being in it.

I feel so grateful that she was part of my life and part of so many of my childhood memories. Her kindness and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. May the many wonderful memories you shared bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Pat was a very dedicated and kind person. We met her a couple of years ago, and she was always there to help us with our dogs, Benny and Stanley. She loved those dogs like her own. She was always eager to talk about them and let us know every detail of her time spent with them. She would  even lecture our son about keeping their water bowls full. Pat was always friendly and easy to talk to.  She always shared many stories that would keep you laughing.  Pat will be truly missed.
