Patricia R. Olson passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at the age 79. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Albin and Myrtle Olson (née Romaine). She was preceded in death by her loving sister Lorraine Christiansen Barlow. Patricia led a full life of travel, friends, church and family time. She traveled the world to many places (Israel, Africa, Europe, Italy, China, Hong Kong, Croatia, France and many more).
She devoted over 30 years of service to Delta Airlines, where her professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and travelers alike. Patricia is lovingly remembered by her niece, Carolyn (Doug) Destache and her nephew Scott (Sue) Christiansen and her four grand-nieces. The last several years, she enjoyed holidays with her great grand nieces and was a devoted friend and neighbor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10am - 10:30am at Our Saviour’s United Methodist Church, 701 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194. A service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the same location. Burial will be private with family only. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to American Cancer Society, 150 S.
