Patrick Arthur Kennedy

Patrick Arthur Kennedy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 at his home in Arlington Heights, IL. Born October 16, 1936 in Chicago, IL, Patrick was the son of Arthur and Kathryn (nee Dollar) Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy dedicated 35 years of his career to the A.C. Nielsen Company, retiring as Vice President of Client Services. He proudly served in the US Navy Reserves. Patrick was deeply involved in his community as an active member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, a volunteer at Northwest Community Hospital for over 25 years, and a court watcher at the Cook County Circuit Courts.

Patrick cherished time with his family and enjoyed traveling. His family includes, his wife Kathleen (nee Calus); his children Dan (Nancy) Kennedy, Peggy Greener, Maureen Grashorn, Joan (Rick) Winkoff, Tom Kennedy, David (Jane) Kennedy, Amy (Pat Moore) Kennedy, Anthony (Tricia) Montesano, Janet (Kenneth) Pavel, and Kerry (Ronald) Kowalski; his 30 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Alice (nee O'Callaghan); and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

Visitation will take place again at 10:00 am and a funeral mass at 11:00 am, on Monday, July 29, 2024, both at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, followed by interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
