He died December 21, 2016 in Hoffman Estates, IllinoisPaul was employed as an accountant for Continental Can Company, from 1947 until his retirement in 1989. "Paul was also active in the community, serving as President of the Resurrection High School Father"s Club as well as serving as a lector at St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights and later at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mundelein." Paul also enjoyed golfing and bowling, and he always held a leadership role within the leagues he participated in." He was a lifelong Cubs fan that wanted to live long enough to see his Cubbies win the World Series.Paul is survived by his wife of more than 67 years, Catherine (nee Sittner); his children, Kathy (the late Jim) Olinger, Larry (Ruth) Moser, Susan (Tom) Bowman, Karen Stevens (Jack Wexelberg), and Donna (Tom) Dirienzo; his grandchildren, Guy (Julie) Sromek, Stacy (Shawn) Woirel, Jennifer (Keith) Picard, Jackie (Matt) Rumachik, Ryan (Melissa) Bowman, Erin (Patrick) Grady, Nick (Amanda) Dirienzo, Gina (Tom) Walsh, JoAnna Dirienzo, Carolyn Dirienzo, and Danny Dirienzo; his great-grandchildren, Kimbal Picard, Andrew Picard, Jason Picard, Molly Sromek, Gavin Sromek, Jimmy Woirel, Jackson Woirel, Hunter Rumachik, Maddie Rumachik, Shaun Grady, James Grady, Grayson Dirienzo, Zachary Gowman, Andrew Bowman; his brother Donald (Shirley) Moser.Paul is preceded in death by his great-grandchildren Chase Rumachik and Kiera Grady; his brother Kenneth Moser; and his parentsVisitation Tuesday, December, 27, 2016 from 9:00 am until time of Mass 10:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N.
