Peter Anthony Ruddy

He was a college student at Illinois State University in Normal, also a 2016 graduate of Harper College in Palatine and 2014 graduate of Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. As a college student, Peter worked part time at Costco in Mount Prospect. Peter loved weightlifting and joking around with his family and friends, and he was deeply loved by all.

Peter is survived by his mother, Susan McNally and father, Peter P. Ruddy; siblings, John Ruddy and Clare Ruddy; grandmother, Nancy McNally; aunts and uncles, Martin (Maribeth) McNally, John (Sharon) McNally, Tim (Colleen) McNally, Daniel (Paulette) McNally, Mary (Terry) Unwin, Bernadette (Anthony) Sullivan, Michael (Nicky) Flynn, and Anne Ruddy; and cousins Erin, Dan, Molly, Katie, Sara (Derek), Kellie (Brian), Melissa, Jason, Mallory, Emily, Sean, Ian (Julie Ann), Andrew, Christopher, Jack, Charlie, Patrick, Leo and Oliver, and many second cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph McNally; grandparents, Peter and Winifred "Una" Ruddy; and aunt, Ann McNally.

Visitation Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:15 am Monday, January 22, 2018 at the funeral home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 for a 10:00 am Funeral Mass. Interment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
