Annie, Barb, Greg and Eileen (& all): Sending so much love your way. Your Dad (and your husband) was such a great man! I really admired his spirit and the way that he always made others feel so welcome. He had a way of showing that he genuinely cared and I will never forget him. Dear Eileen, Greg, Barb, Ann, Jason, and all of Phil's extended family;

My heart goes out to all of you in the loss of your beloved husband and father. Here at the animal hospital, we never failed to see Phil's kind and gentle side with his pets. I will tell you that we've never forgotten how seriously Phil took the news that his beloved dachsies were - well, more than a little chubby. He immediately got involved in coming up with a home-made diet and preparing their food, and he got them back into shape in record time. I remember how pleased and proud he was, when we took a picture of him and his newly-slim pet, to show other clients that it could be done!

It was a privilege and a pleasure to know Phil. We will miss him....

With respect and sympathy,
Dr. Deb Mitchell and all of us here at Knollwood

My contact with Phil was al too brief, and stemmed from a business perspective, and although we never met in person and handled our work via phone and email, he was a delight to work with, and a wise counsel. He was there when needed, and always cheerful. We shared great stories about our Doxies. I will very much miss him, not just from a business level, but also from a personal level, as I really enjoyed his wit. He always cheered me up when we faced a difficult situation. Several times he "saved my bacon" by coming to the rescue when asked. He was a talented writer that I really appreciated having on my team.

Any who have met Phil, even briefly, could pick up on the fact that Phil was a contiplative, delightful man who's pareting raised a very good friend of mine. Thank you Phil for being the Dad you were with the inspiration to raise such great kids.
